Glasgow - City of Sculpture

Stephen Broadbent
(b. 1961)

Born in Wroughton and based in Liverpool, he trained with Arthur Dooley , 1979-83, and held his first one-man show at the Aberbach Gallery, London, in 1982.

His public work includes the bronze relief panels at Saltire Court, Edinburgh, representing The Trades and Professions of Edinburgh (1991), and Challenge, at Capital House, Chester (1993), and Reconciliation, Liverpool (1990), the latter being reproduced in Belfast and Glasgow and unveiled on the same day.
