George Gregory
(fl. 1903-6)

An architectural sculptor and instructor in stone carving at GSA , 1903-6, he trained at the school under William Vickers in the late 1890s, and later taught Alexander Proudfoot and Archibald Dawson .

In 1905-6, he collaborated with Richard Ferris on the Chimera doorpiece and other ornamental carving for James Salmon and J Gaff Gillespie 's additions to the British Linen Bank, 110 Queen Street (dem. 1968).
