Glasgow - City of Sculpture

Rick Kirby (b. 1952)

Born Gillingham, Kent, and based in London.

His commissions for public sculpture include the large scale Cross the Divide, South Bank, London (2000).

In 1999, he was amongst four sculptors invited to produce public sculpture in Castlemilk, Glasgow, as part of the district's Gateways and Landmarks project. The sculpture is (at the time of writing) his first bronze.
